In case you were planning to come in today, I wanted to let you know that I have to leave the office at noon today and will be out of the office for the rest of the day as I am taking a family member to Juravinski for an oncology appointment 

If you did want an adjustment, I am available between 8:30 AM and noon today.

Or I am in the office Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6 PM 

My apologies for the short notice, but we just got the call late yesterday
