Family Day: Building a Legacy of Health

In my practice, I have the privilege of caring for patients just minutes old, right through to those well into their 90s and beyond. That perspective makes one thing very clear — the choices we make today ripple forward.

Did you know?
Many lifelong health patterns are shaped quietly at home — through movement, posture, stress habits, and how we respond to discomfort.

A few gentle reminders this week:

Move together when you can — walks, skating, playing outside all count

Notice posture during screen time (for kids and adults) AND take a stretch break every 20 minutes

Prioritize rest — nervous systems (and Immune Systems) thrive on recovery mode.

Address little aches early before they become loud problems

Reflections

Health isn’t about perfection.
It’s about consistency and care — over time.

What’s one small habit you’re modelling right now that supports your family’s future health?
